8/1/08 Working Structure Fire " Mutual Aid to George Hildebran F.D."
At 2238 HRS Icard Fire was dispatched Automatic Mutual aid to G.H.F.D for a working structure fire. First arriving unit 730 Confirmed. Icard Engine 642 and Truck 656 responded with a total of 6 personnel. Fire Crews were on the scene until the early morning of 8-2-2008. Icard Fire crews and personnel were released at 0051 HRS.8/5/08 Reported Structure Fire
At 2130 HRS Icard Fire responded to the Hickory Airport Rd. area for a reported structure fire. An Automatic Mutual Aid Response was given to Drowning Creek F.D. and Lovelady F.D. First arriving units advised that there was no structure fire only an illegal burn. All responding agencies were cancelled.8/12/08 Email Notifications

At 1656 HRS Icard Fire responded to a Fire Alarm at Carolina Rehab of Burke. Icard C-1, E-641, E-644 and TR-646 responded. First arriving unit Icard 640 confirmed a false alarm and all responding units were cancelled.8/25/2008 Fire Alarm @ Mike's Golf Cart Sales
At 1321 HRS Icard Fire responded to a reported Fire Alarm activation at Mike's Golf Cart sales. Icard C-1 and E-644 responded seconds after dispatch. Icard C-1 checked on scene and confirmed a false alarm and cancelled all responding units.8/27/2008 HAZ-Conditions Fire
At 0041 HRS Icard Fire responded to a reported tree on a powerline in the Sides Ave. Development. First arriving units located the incident and Duke Energy was notified.

Working Structure Fire
August 27, 2008
At approximately 1009 HRS Icard Township Fire / Rescue responded to a reported
working structure fire. Lovelady Fire Department and George Hildebran Fire Department
responded Automatic Mutual Aid for this assignment. First arriving units confirmed a
working mobile home fire and a second alarm was requested. First due Engine 644
established a water source from a near by hydrant. Fire crews suppressed the fire
quickly after arrival.
Responding Agencies: Icard Fire Chief 640, E-644, E-642, TR-646, Lovelady TR-636,
TK-637, George Hildebran Fire Personnel, Burke County EMS, Burke County Fire
Marshal's Office 796, American Red Cross.

August 28, 2008
At approximately 1213 HRS Icard Township Fire / Rescue responded to a reported
Single Vehicle MVA around the 7700 Block of Old N.C. 10. First arriving units rendered
aid to the driver of the vehicle. Fire Department personnel established a safe working
area and provided traffic control to ensure scene safety.
Responding Agencies: Icard C-1, TR-646, Burke EMS Crew 34, NCSHP

"Passenger Vehicle" Fuel Leak
September 2, 2008
At approximately 0654 HRS Icard Township Fire / Rescue responded to a reported fuel
leak in the Eastbound lane of I-40 around the 117 mile marker. First arriving unit
reported a small fuel leak from a SUV. A safe working area was establish and the minor
leak was contained. The vehicle had ran over debris in the roadway which ruptured the
fuel tank.
