Garbage Compactor Fire

Around 1800 HRS Icard Township Fire / Rescue responded to the
Cline Industrial Park area for a reported Commercial Fire Alarm. The
first arriving unit found a garbage compactor fire. The fire was isolated
to the compactor. Long View Fire Department also assisted with this
incident.

Grass / Woods Fire

At 1318 HRS Icard Township Fire / Rescue responded to the Joseph
Burns Rd. area for a reported Grass / Woods Fire. The first arriving
units found about 1/4 acre Grass / Woods Fire moving slowly.
Firefighters had the fire extinguished several minutes after arriving on
scene.

Vehicle Fire

Around 1455 HRS Icard Township Fire / Rescue responded to the area
of I-40 Westbound 115 Mile Marker for reported fully involved vehicle fire.
The first arriving unit found a light duty commercial truck fully involved.
Burke County React & NCSHP also assisted with the incident.
